B.Sc nursing started in the college since in 2010. In take of 60 students per year. 2011 the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing started with in take of 30 students per year. M.Sc. Nursing started in the year of 2016 with the in take of 25 students and 5 specialities.

Medical Surgical Nursing

The Medical Surgical Nursing department caters to the needs of 2nd & 3rd year B.Sc. (N), and 2nd year G.N.M nursing students. The aim of the department is to prepare the nursing students to become full-fledged professionals in providing comprehensive care to the individuals and enable the students to function as educators, managers and researchers in the field of medical surgical nursing. Outreach programmes are conducted every academic year to meet the needs of local community. The faculty members are highly motivated to pursue their higher education and excel in their career.

Peadiatric Nursing

The department trains the B.Sc & B.Sc. Nursing(Post Basic) to cater to the needs of children of all age groups, from birth to adolescence. The department's policy is directed toward the provision of quality professional services. It provides good teaching- learning experiences to the students. Child Health Nursing enables them to function as educators, managers and researchers in the field of child health nursing.

Obstetrics & Gynaecology

At the department of Maternity Nursing, we take pride in our quality teaching. The Department of Maternity Nursing provides courses in Obstetrical and Gynaecological nursing with theoretical and practical elements. We provide our B.Sc and B.Sc. Nursing(Post Basic) Students with the qualifications and skills needed to work and perform under the Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing expert. We ensure effective and efficient services to our student community and enable them to function as educators, managers and researchers in the field of maternity nursing.

Psychiatric Nursing

The Department of Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nursing provides academic services and research to promote mental health and prevent mental health problems of people, their families and communities as well as continuously intervene and rehabilitate patients with psychiatric problems and their families. It uses theories of human behaviour as its scientific framework and requires the use of the self as its art or expression in nursing practice. The department under the experienced and dedicated faculty render quality based education to the B.Sc & B.Sc. Nursing(Post Basic) to assist them in developing expertise and in depth understanding in the field of Psychiatric Nursing. It will help students to appreciate the client as a holistic individual and develop skills to function as psychiatric nurses and enable them to function as educators, managers and researchers in the field of psychiatric nursing.

Community Health

Community health nursing is a field of nursing practice, which blends primary health care and principles of nursing practice with public health nursing. The department of community health nursing is intended to mould fully pledged community health nurses, who are ready to serve the patients at any place and at any time by applying the principles of community health nursing. The department of Community health nursing is enthusiastic to provide quality education to students in B.Sc Nursing & B.Sc. Nursing(Post Basic), under the supervision of excellent faculty. Moreover, the department takes great interest in conducting public health research and community welfare programmes. The department has promised to facilitate both professional and personal growth in the students and the faculty by encouraging and supporting their participation in continuing educational activities.
